Understanding EHCPs ( Education,Health & Care Plans)
A two part workshop for parents and carers to aid understanding of how to apply for a needs assessment for their child, what to expect as part of the process and the type of evidence that could be used as part of this process. We will also cover some basic points of law, parental and professional roles and responsibilities in relation to the EHCP process.

Join us for a 4-week course of relaxed crafting with Karen & Amanda at ‘Autism Inclusive’, Crewe. No previous experience is required. What will be on offer to try? During the 4-week course there will be opportunity to create useful items using some of the following techniques. We will look at how to support children and young people with sensory processing difficulties at home, in the community and in education and share strategies and tips that could provide them with support at home and further help from health and educational professionals.

We will also share tips for support at home, in the community and in educational settings. We will also cover some basic points of law, in terms of reasonable adjustments, supporting mental health and wellbeing in school, to enable parents and carers to feel more empowered when advocating for their child.
