Join Mrs Smart and Mrs Bright on a theatrical story adventure!
Walk with your child through a treacherous jungle, fly to the moon, go on expeditions to the Arctic or dive deep under the sea…anything is possible!
Each Moving Stories session focuses on a different theme and story. With the help of Mrs Smart and Mrs Bright children will develop a story through make-believe, play and presentation. Children are encouraged to add their own ideas and become part of the story.
These imaginative and immersive sessions help children’s language, physical, emotional, cognitive, creative, and social skills while encouraging confidence to participate with the story.
These sessions are designed for the whole family, so grownups are highly encouraged to get involved to not only learn new ways to help with their children’s development, but to also experience and bond with the exciting journeys they will embark on.

These are exciting, energetic small group activity story sessions for the whole family. Primarily aimed at children aged 10 and under and a grown-up helper. The sessions are themed and delivered with a clear structure that is visually displayed throughout the story. Each session will be unique, as the children will be engaged in a make believe and interactive story.
The sessions support the development of children’s language, physical, emotional, cognitive, creative and social skills while encouraging confidence to participate with the story. Children share their own ideas making the story their own with help from Mrs. Smart and Mrs. Bright who are the Story Tellers.
Mrs. Smart and Mrs. Bright can be booked to deliver these hourly interactive story sessions at your setting, for a class, for a birthday party, village hall event, summer fayres or you can join them at one of the special events as advertised on the website and Facebook page.
Mrs. Smart and Mrs. Bright have brought their Moving Story Sessions to children’s centres, community groups, schools, day nurseries, theatre’s and festivals…
We can also deliver training to practitioners via a ‘Moving Stories’ workshop to support staff when engaging with children in the settings, look for these on the courses page.
